The dedicated controls for the classification are in the Classification menu.
Classification allows defining the attributes that characterize the products, and the classification attributes.
In the PLM, the attributes defined in the PLM Manager are in the Description of the Classification frame of the Product category, or even, for some, in the Variation attributes of the Product category.
The classification used to classify a data create by the user in order to recover from the search criteria. The classification is to define search criteria and apply them to application objects.
The principle is to create a Classification theme (example : a Season) then give Attributes to this classification (examples : 2010, 2011) then for each attribute, giving them Values (example : Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). You can refine the criteria by adding sub-values to values. Once criteria set, you can apply these search criteria for objects of your choice.
