Apply classification attributes to objects and users

To access objects : select Classification > Affect Lookup Values

This box on the left of the main window displays the list of objects and users of your application.

On the left, the available attributes list and on the right the list of  already allocated.  

The buttons  Move down or Move up allow to order the attributes of classification such that it will be displayed on PLM (Description, Classification area).

Please note that the classification to Users enables to define only the possible classifications for all the users without assigning them to a particular type of user. To do so, go to the Users tab, in the Security menu, and then check the classification attributes (see Definition of groups, users and profiles)

Classification to an object or to an user allocation procedure

1. Select Classification > Affect Lookup Values.  

2. In the objects list box, click on the name of your choice.
3. In the criteria to objects list box, select the classification to be allocated. You can use the Shift key on the keyboard to select adjacent names or Ctrl to select non adjacent names.
4. Click on the button to allocate the classification  or to remove the allocation.
5. the lists are updated.

5. Save your allocations with the Save button.
